The Senior Marketplace Account Manager acts as an advocate for sellers internally, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of AUTODOC's product offerings.


    Key responsibilities:

    • Strategic Account Management: Own and manage all facets of the account management process for medium to large accounts, building and maintaining strategic relationships with key customers.
    • Seller Advocacy and Support: Act as the voice of the seller internally, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and accurately. Provide high-level support and strategic guidance to sellers to help them succeed.
    • Business Operations and Performance Analysis: Utilize tools, systems, and processes to drive results across the seller lifecycle. Analyze key metrics and use data-driven insights to make informed business decisions and improve seller performance.
    • Product Expertise and Improvement: Exhibit deep knowledge of AUTODOC's product offerings and the broader ecosystem. Identify product bugs, high-severity events, and feature enhancements, driving resolution and contributing to product development based on seller and customer feedback.
    • Competitive Analysis and Growth: Conduct deep dives on seller issues and the competitive landscape, delivering recommendations to improve seller and customer engagement and grow the business. Develop and implement seller-specific account plans.
    • Mentorship and Team Development: Serve as a mentor to colleagues, providing guidance and support to help grow their skills and capabilities. Offer regular feedback and create opportunities for professional development.


    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in a similar role/area
    • Fluent English and German (Fluency in any other EU language is a plus (French, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish especially)
    • Relevant working experience in e-Commerce
    • Relevant working experience in Sales and/or Account Management
    • Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot), Seller Portal tools and platforms is a plus
    • Previous experience in Seller Onboarding or Support is a plus
    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and autonomous with strong leadership qualities
    • Analytical, strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities

    Key Responsibilities


    Domain Ownership

    • Define and own the vision, roadmap, and KPIs for the AUTODOC mobile apps.
    • Lead the evolution of the app as a first-class product: fast, reliable, personalised, and valuable to every car owner.
    • Align mobile product strategy with company-wide goals, from acquisition to retention and customer LTV.
    • Ensure platform consistency across iOS and Android, while optimising for platform-specific strengths (e.g. widgets, push strategies, deep links).


    Team Leadership

    • Coordinate a team of Product Managers working on different parts of the app (onboarding, search, account, loyalty, etc.).
    • Drive strong collaboration across teams (design, data, QA, growth marketing, etc.).
    • Champion user-centric thinking, experimentation, and continuous discovery.


    Product & Experience Execution

    • Deliver seamless app flows: login, car garage, part discovery, checkout, tracking, returns, etc.
    • Own and improve app-specific KPIs
    • Partner with design to implement mobile-native UX patterns and accessibility standards.


    AI Integration

    • Implement AI-driven personalisation in key areas
    • Use behavioral AI to predict drop-offs, optimise push timings, and trigger re-engagement flows.
    • Test generative AI features like smart chat support, voice commands, or AI-generated how-to guidance.
    • Collaborate with data science to build user segments and dynamic UX variants based on usage signals.


    Analytics, Insights & Growth

    • Track app-specific funnels and usage with tools like Firebase, Appsflyer, and GA4.
    • Run experiments to improve onboarding, reduce uninstall rates, and grow app store ratings.
    • Collaborate with CRM and Growth teams on lifecycle messaging, ASO, deep linking, and mobile traffic acquisition.
    • Monitor and respond to user feedback via app reviews and surveys to inform backlog and quick wins.



    Requirements

    • 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on mobile app development.
    • Proven leadership experience - managing PMs or owning major cross-functional product areas.
    • Strong understanding of native app ecosystems (iOS/Android), release processes, UX guidelines, and metrics.
    • Data-driven mindset: able to work with analytics, define KPIs, and run experiments.
    • Experience with AI/ML applications in mobile, or strong interest in this space, is a big plus.
