Key Responsibilities
• Design, build and implement scalable, secure and resilient cloud infrastructures in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate cloud architectures, services and migration strategies.
• Plan and execute cloud migration projects, supporting organisations in moving workloads from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS.
• Design and deploy cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code and automation best practices.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.
• Continuously review and optimise cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency and security.
• Ensure all deployments follow security best practices, governance models and company policies.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate AWS solutions.
• Support customers throughout their cloud adoption and modernisation journey.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams and internal best practices.
Critical Skills & Experience
• Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including compute, networking, storage and identity services.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AWS infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, VPC architecture and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and modernisation projects.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux environments and system administration.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex infrastructure issues.
• Experience working in customer-facing environments with a consultative mindset.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, with strong exposure to AWS environments.
• AWS certifications (Associate and/or Professional level) are highly valued.
• Certifications in Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tools are a plus.
Language Skills
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
