    About the Role:

    We are looking for a Roku Developer to join the Ovyo team on a short-term contract and to work 100% remotely. We are looking for immediate starters that we can build a long lasting business relationship with for future projects too.


    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Roku channels using BrightScript
    • Implement smooth video playback with HLS/DASH, DRM (Widevine, PlayReady), and adaptive streaming across all Roku device generations.
    • Integrate third-party services including advertising (RAF, DAI), analytics (Conviva, Nielsen), authentication, and content APIs.
    • Optimize performance, memory usage, and app load times while ensuring compliance with Roku certification requirements.
    • Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams in an Agile environment; debug issues, write tests, and support production releases and hotfixes.


    Required Experience:

    • At least 4 years of Roku Development experience with strong proficiency in Brightscript
    • Thorough understanding of the SceneGraph framework and its core principles
    • Familiarity with Design Patterns such as MVC and MVVM
    • Experience integrating with third party libraries like Analytics, Advertising etc.
    • Practice of Unit Testing
    • Experience with build, submission, and certification process of Roku applications
    • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git and build automation systems
    • Video-based app development
    • Ideally also exposure to RALE, RAF, IAP (but not a dealbreaker)

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join our dynamic team in building a cutting-edge Over-The-Top (OTT) mobile application focused on video streaming. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms using React Native, with a proven track record in the OTT industry, specifically working on video streaming mobile apps.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance OTT mobile application using React Native for both Android and iOS platforms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Own end-to-end campaign setup, trafficking, and delivery in Google Ad Manager.
    • Monitor pacing and performance, proactively troubleshooting delivery and reporting issues.
    • Translate campaign objectives into effective programmatic setups and deal execution (PMP, PG, PD).
    • Optimize campaigns against KPIs and provide clear, actionable performance insights.
