    Mission of the Role: Business partner to the Commercial Lead, is to establish a partnership with our European Commercial team to meticulously oversee all financial facets of the business unit. This entails crafting comprehensive financial business cases for new business prospects, fostering effective engagement with cross-functional teams, including engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing, to articulate roadmaps aimed at cost improvement and enhanced returns throughout the product lifecycle. Ona daily basis, the role maintains program financials up to date, thereby ensuring the sustained financial health and success of the business unit.


    Key Accountabilities / How You Will Spend Your Days


    • Lead finance for a product line and be a business partner to the Commercial Lead
    • Support and maintain program financials from acquisition to SOP
    • Continuous monitoring of program financials over lifetime; challenge assumptions to optimize profitability
    • Develop business cases with a strategic focus and create roadmaps to drive higher returns through the business period
    • Present financials to senior management
    • Support customer negotiations and pricing strategy
    • Optimize the commercial margins of the current year impacts
    • Analyze and provide sales and commercial margin-related reporting to the product line lead, support annual budget and forecasting activities related to sales planning
    • Ensure compliance with SOX controls regarding review and reporting of long term pricing agreements (LTA) to ensure compliance with revenue recognition guidelines
    • Understand customer vehicle volume, industry trends, and regulations that might impact volumes and our business outcomes. Prepare claims for recoveries if customer commitmentsare not met.
    • Attend program meetings held by PM's on request and support financials

    • Provide financials for Gate Reviews and change evaluations in time, ahead of reviews
    • Support sales forecast and budget activities in adherence to given schedules
    • Follow up on identified risks & opps on a regular basis
    • Develop strong relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders.

    • Understand the financial challenges of the product line and propose appropriate ideas to grow margins

    Reporting Structure: reports to the Director of Commercial Finance Europe


    Qualification, Experience, and Skills:


    • 5-10 years of work experience, ideally inan automotive manufacturing environment
    • Finance degree, MBA preferred
    • General understanding of electronics manufacturing and quote processes
    • Understanding of manufacturing overhead cost structure and financial performance key drivers
    • Ability to successfully build working relationships, especially with plant teams, engineering, program managers, and program teams
    • Ability to synthesize knowledge of customers and competition
    • Advanced skills in active listening, problem definition, problem resolution, research, analysis, and executive briefings/reporting

    Mission of the Role: As part of the Mechanical Interface role, you are responsible to interact with the Customer, Internal Program Team, Mechanical execution leads to be sure all the mechanical deliverables are on track.


    Key Objectives of this Role:


    •Specifications to ME Engineer:


    • With good Customer interaction skills to be a customer interface to deliver the ME customer deliverables.
    • To interact with global execution engineers to communicate the customer requirements and to follow up to get the customer deliverables.
    • To have a good understanding of the Automotive project development phases, Timing, and process.
    • To track the project according to automotive development flow, to be sure that all deliverables are on track, deliver them in internal process control tools like Jira, Confluence.



    Key Year One Deliverables:


    • All Customer deliveries are on time and of the required level of quality
    • No customer escalation related to the gap in communication, delivery
    • On time, completing internal process-related deliverables in process tools like Jira, Confluence


    Qualification, Experience, and Skills:


    • Bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical engineering
    • Project execution experience from RFQ to SOP, good knowledge in project execution according to global automotive design flow (project management experience is a bonus.)
    • 5 to 8 years of experience in automotive design in a global tier 1 or OEM.
    • Experience in designing using sheet metal, plastic moldings, extrusions, and castings, including design for manufacturing reviews.
    • Knowledge of enclosure design, thermal management, structural design, sealing, interconnections, PCB, and material selection for in-cabin and exterior of cabin environments.
    • Knowledge of the mechanical design of vehicle charging system electronics or powertrain modules (not mandatory).
    • Knowledge for the mechanical design of power electronics systems, including inverters, On-Board chargers, and DC/DC (not mandatory)
    • Experience in interacting with internal stakeholders and external customers at the OEM or Tier 1 level
    • Experience in requirement analysis and issue management (Jira, Confluence)
    • Experience in ASIL-D, DFMEA, and other quality documents
    • Failure analysis and testing experience
    • Strong understanding of design for module-level reliability
    • Understanding of EMC/ESD and circuit design
    • Experience in CAD systems (Catia Preferred, NX, Team Center database)
    • Experience in BOM creation and release
    • Experience in structural or thermal simulation tools (Preferred)
    • Good English skills (mandatory)
